Movement Through Interpretation

If you’ve been a long standing Vivix 659 customer, you know that the Steamers design has been a part of the our hand drawn tee shirt line-up for years. This artistic rendition of a classic ocean wave has so much detail packed into it that the wave appears to have actual movement. 

Acting as a sort of homage to Steamers Lane in Santa Cruz, CA, the Steamers tee is created from a complex web of short dashes. The make up of this design gives the illusion of fluidity. One of my favorite things about the Steamers design is how much life it has. Who knew a wave on a tee shirt could feel so much like the real thing!
